1.   Lawn Bowls Section Committee
I am pleased to inform that the New Committee has been come into operation after the AGM held on 11 March 2016.
 
The composition of the Committee is as follows:

The Committee will work in accordance with the Mission Statement as stipulated in the Lawn Bowls Section Bye-laws.

 

2.   The Premier League
 
The Premier League 2016 is getting closer to start and the first game will be held on 30.4.2016.  At this point in time the side Captains have been selected and they, in conjunction with the Men’s and Ladies Captains are in the process of placing bowlers in teams.

3.    The Outdoor and Indoor Green

The Outdoor Green is under maintenance and will be opened partly for the National Fours games in early April.  The whole green will be closed from 19 April 2016 for the Premier League.
 
Members are reminded that the indoor will be used to hold the 2nd Bowls Grand Prix from 1000 hours to 1830 hours on 27 March 2016.
 
 

4.    The Easter Social Game, Monday 28 March 2016

Forty-two section members have now signed up for this social event. The game will start at 2:00pm sharp on the Indoor Green.

The section will provide afternoon tea and one free drink to the participants.

5.    SC Trophy Friendly Game between HKFC & KCC

The annual event will take place at KCC on Saturday, 2nd April 2016.  Thirty-six players in mixed rink will be formed to represent the Club to participate in the friendly game. The game will start at 2:30pm after the welcome drink and group photo.

6.    Pig Cutting to mark the start of Premier League 2016

The pig cutting will take place around 2:00pm on 23 April 2016 at the Outdoor Green, and will be followed by social games both Indoors and Outdoors.
 
Details of the event will be announced in due course.
